i received a complimentary upgrade to a room with sea view. the housekeeping staff, zahid in particular, were attentive. breakfast service with jackie was consistently good. the staff decorated our room with a bouquet for my girlfriend's birthday.
the hotel is old so the room quality was not the best. the minibar contained leftovers from previous guests. i found this quite unpleasant.

I found the location convenient. The hotel sits right on the beach and is close to many shops and restaurants. Access to the Executive Lounge was a definite perk, as it provided complimentary afternoon tea. I found this especially valuable.
The furniture in the room seemed a bit dated.

The front desk staff offered a warm welcome. I appreciated the question from the Ambassador about any special occasion. It was my birthday the day after arrival. Tracy took a photo with her boss and other team members and surprised me. She was professional.
The air conditioning system had some noise. It was not possible to regulate the air speed.
